Area profile

Scurlage, Rhossili and Reynoldston are small villages in rural locations on Gower which are approximately 10 miles from Swansea City Centre.

The council properties in this area consist of a small number of houses, 2 bedroom flats (suitable for children) and bungalows for OAPs.

Scurlage has a shop and a holiday village.  The Community Mobile Library visits the area regularly. A Primary School is nearby in Knelston.

The Gower was the first area in Britain to be designated an area of outstanding beauty.  It attracts a high number of tourists due to the number of beaches and the variety of leisure activities on offer.
